Midway through the John Schlesinger tribute, MY HUSBAND MAKES MOVIES, curated by the late director’s husband Michael Childers, audiences are still being wowed by Schlesinger’s body of work. Each film is preceded by a behind the scenes conversation with Childers and friends about the film, the people involved with Schlesinger in making the films, and the actors who portrayed the characters in the films. All the films are screened on the BIG screen of the historic Camelot Theatre, and proceeds from this series support the Revival Film Program at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, helping to ensure classic cinema continues to thrive for future generations.
